Pesos Convertibles and Cuban Pesos are the national currencies. Special condition for inland transport : payments in Pesos Convertibles for foreigners and in Cuban Pesos for Cuban people
You can pay nothing cheaper with Cuban Pesos, it’s only for different products, mainly of poor quality or for staple products. To give you an idea : 1 Peso Convertible = 0.72 Eur = 25 Cuban Pesos. Foreign exchange can be done in big hotels & banks.
